How is everyone doing?

Still having an awesome time! The past few days have been spent in the Red Centre. Have seen Ayres Rock at sunset and sunrise and it really is a beautiful sight. Have taken some cracking pictures so next timw I have my camera handy I'll uplaod them. We also did a walk around the rock (or some of it) first thing in the morning. The days have generally started really early because of the heat. It's 34 in Alice Springs today which I know I cant complain about but it is just too hot. Yesterday we took a walk around Kings Canyon and that was pretty amazing to.

By the way the picture at the top isn't mine but we did see one. Our tour guide has never seen an alive one before and whilst we we driving down yet another straight road he happened to see one. Slammed on the breaks and went out for a look. They're amazinig creatures. The basically have capiliary tubes or something and if they stand in water the suck it up through their feet. Weird but cool.

It's our last day in Alice Springs today and tomorrow we head up to Darwin. We have to say more goodbyes this evening which will be sad. Last night we all went out and consumed a large quantities of vino and some of us (me inculded had to be up at 4.30 this morning to do a hot air balloon ride. We only had about two hours sleep but somehow managed to get up. After we were picked up though they let off a few weather balloons to test the weather and nto so long after the decision was made to postpone the flight. A little gutting as it was a really nice morning this morning but with any luck I'll get chance somewhere else along the way to do one. Tonight a few of us are going to another Aboriginal night out. I have a feeling it's going to be embarrasing!!.
