We caught our flight from Bangkok to Luang Prabang in the early morning, it was on a rickety plane powered by a propellor which caused alot of banter between the group, even though it was a cheap flight and a less than perfect plane it still came with an in flight meal....what it was is still unknown! We arrived in a really nice airport in Luang Prabang as soon as we arrived we could see that the way of life was alot more chilled out than that in the main city! After a long time trying to find the guesthouse where we were due to meet the girls we decided to get dropped at the museum and meet them there, alot more confusion took place before we realised we were at different ends of the museum and eventually met up! We checked all our bags into our guesthouse which was cheap and cosy with four of us boys staying in two double beds! As the girls had literally just arrived in luang prabang also and we were starvin we all went out for a nice meal in one of the local restaurants. That night we got a tuc tuc to go to one of the local bars called the lao lao gardens, where we took advantage of the 2-4-1 coctails and beer towers whilst playin ring of fire, after about 7 strawberry daquiris josh was absolutely slaughtered as the rest of the group were just a little merry! Later that evening we went to the local bowling alley as it was the only place that stayed open until 3 am, everywhere else closed early doors at 11 and knowing all of us lot that was not a time we were accustom to to end partying, the first leg of the last man standing was all down to the bowling and i took the top score, finished off with a little karaoke in the tuc tuc from me and ty it was a great start in the beautiful country of Laos!!!!!
