Hello everyone,
we know it has been a while but we have had a very good excuse, we have been lost in Pai for the last week after leaving Chiang mai and if anybody wan'ts to get lost this has got to be the best place to do it. What can we say tiny little village surrounded on all four sides by lush green mountains, the view from our hut was simply breathtaking (see pics ). This place is famous for people who were planning on just passing through on there way somewhere else but never ended up leaving, and its easy to see why. It attracts a lot of musicians and food buffs which means the food is unbelievable and there is great live music on everynight. Our little bungalow hut which cost us seven pounds per night was sett in it's own lovely grounds, instead of a swimming pool we had our own tropical hot sring fed pool, which we also shared with a few fish (see pics). The main editor of the lonely planet travel guide for Thailand only gives this place 2-3 pages in the whole book but chooses to live here himself (he wants to keep it a secret) and we know why, this place is amazing, best place so far, but dont tell your mates cause its hush hush information.
We have spent the whole week eating lovely food, taking in the scenery, listening to good music and relaxing, and I mean relaxing. James is convinced there is something in the air around here,
tonight were on a 7 hour night bus to the Thai border with Laos, get back to you soon.
Lots of love Danielle & James****************************************************
