G'day

After a couple of days spent at Rolling Stone we decided to head right up the coast by-passing cairns to a place called Cape Tribulation, Cape Trib is in  Daintree national park, the rainforest area of Australia. (The place where they film i'm a celebrity get me out of here) this area is really beautiful and is one of the only places on the planet were the rainforest runs right into the sea, all this beauty does come at a price though. ""CROC'S"" the place is infested with them, the east coast of Australia really is  lovely but the wildlife definately is not, firstly you can't swim in the sea because of the box jellyfish (the most deadly thing on the planet) secondly you can't swim in most of the rivers or lakes because of the crocs and if that is'nt bad enough you have to be on the lookout for the world's most deadly snake and his mate the world's most deadly spider, and must not forget about the great whites, they all live around here, all that said Australia really is a lovely place and you just seem to except it as normal after a while, as one Australian man who James was working with nicely put it, if it doesn't kill you it will at the very least put you in hospital for a long while,         lovely place''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

The highlight of our time in the rainforest whilst up at Cape Trib was when we got stuck in the UTE (car) whilst in CROCODILE INFESTED WATERS "CRIKEY" We could have done with Steve Irwin on this one, we where trying to get to one of the only safe water holes in the area for a swim and had to pass over a small creek wich was only about a foot deep, we almost made it when the car got stuck just a couple of meters from safety, the four of us were all running around trying to get the car unstuck and in the end sorting out a tow whilst keeping an eye out for the crocs that live in the area. ""DODGEY""

After Cape Tribulation we headed back down the coast to Cairns to do our "SKY DIVE" what can we say, jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane at 14000 feet can only be described as amazing, the best experience of our lives so far, me and James and our friends Dave and Lisa all went up together, 14000 feet is the highest that you can go without oxygen, i decided to jump first and this turned out to be a good decision as James went last and had to watch me then Lisa then Dave all disapear out of the door before him, he says that this was the worst part and we have the DVD evidence to prove it, his face is an absolute picture, where off tomorrow on a four day liveaboard dive boat expedition on the ''outer great barrier reef'' wich involves a "SHARK DIVE" were They attract up to 100 BIG SHARKS and feed them whilst you are in the water with them, fingers crossed they are not to hungry on our trip as they do tend to eat at least a couple of diver's around here every year,

hopefully we will come back safe and sound to tell the tale.
