Time is flying by so fast and we've been so busy i don't know where to start - thursday was kind of a lazy day after such a hectic week in durban, we did some food shopping, a bit of sunbathing, a spot of water volleyball - you know the norm for a gorgeous sunny day in south africa. Friday Evey and i along with katrina (a very crazy but great german girl!!!) went on an open top bus tour of cape town - it was great to see the lay out of the land and we could hop on and off at various stops! Our first stop was table mountain - we decided to hike the mountain rather than take the cable cars - sorry i got that backwards we so definately took the cable cars!! The views were breath taking - i took so many photos, i just can't believe one country can be so gorgeous! We also stopped of at some of the beaches - we tried to have a paddle but the atlantic ocean is definately far too cold! Friday was also the opening of parliment so it was interesting to watch that. Friday night we just stayed at the bar - it was a great night and very busy so a great time for a spot of socialising! Saturday we went to the beach with a big group (including our two new roomates ben and will - who are 18 and so very sweet), as many of you know i have a major issue with sand so going to the windiest beach and eating sand for the day was a big thing for me!! After the beach Katrina took us to our first reggie party - it was so surreal i've never seen so many rasters in one place in my life! I had fun though so i guess you never know till you try it - i just don' t think the dreadlocks will suit me !! Today (sunday 5th) we went to meet Adrienne and Tonys daughter lisa and her son Tariq for lunch - it was nice to complete meeting the whole family and they were lovely!
