Due to the time of year virtually the whole of Sydney was booked up hostel wise. We headed to the promise land of Bondi in hopes of finding some accommodation but after procrastinating on the stunning beach somewhat we found that it was much the same tale in regards to accommodation. Luckily Chris and Ed could stop with Chris's friend Claire whilst me and Owen had the last two beds in the whole of Bondi.
The situation had it's perks. Over the coming days we managed to eventually all get in the same room in the same hostel but we had met so many different people on the way, we filled our days in Bondi on the beach swimming, tanning and playing football (although we played soccer, the yanks American Football and the Aussies rugby). Our nights were filled with socialising, drinking and partying. Thus our mornings were generally spent sleeping.
However despite this party paradise we did manage to take the time out to do yet more sightseeing an touristy things. We visited the impressive Sydney aquarium and walked the cliff walk to Coogee. Unfortunately we had a few days of solid rain which kept us indoors. It was difficult to be upset about this when England were providing such impressive displays in the Ashes.
