Day 3 in NZ and things were already turning into a disaster when we went to pick our car up and the office was closed. Was yet another public holiday for the zealanders! Do they ever work!! Yes I know that's a cheek coming from us! Panic struck as we had a 7 hour drive to do to Queenstown so we went to an all day breakfast place for a huge full English to contemplate what to do! Well after a palava we got the car and finally set off at 3pm! We needn't bother asking about traffic hotspots and a map.. as it was one long road and only passed 5 cars in what turned out to be a 6 hr journey with a stop at a place called Lake Takepo. Apart from the lack of people it was stunning views there. On we went stopping along the way to see more beautiful views except for one! As I was taking in the view of mountains and lakes enjoying the beautiful scenery dan ran passed me in all his glory up the motorway! Not sure why, he just wanted to make a point that he could as there really was no one around for miles and plus thought it would be v funny I suppose!! I do have photos of the moment which I won't publish except for one, far away enough!
Nuff said from Bex. With regard to my exploits on the road,someone who clearly doesn't know me that well, told me I should take time out of Woodford, get out of my comfort zone n let it all hang out ...so I did!!
