day 9-14 (jan 16th-21st)

We hired a car and set off on a road trip to San Diego. Stayed in a really great hostel called the Banana Bunglow, full of surfers and was really chilled out. Didnt do much in San Diego except go to the zoo...which was the best thing ever!! Saw the famous pandas and also the orang utans which were so entertaining. Went down to Mexico for the day, it was like a third world country and not worth a second visit. We did see some strange strippy donkeys though!It was a bit of a hassle getting back ino the USA considering we didnt even have to show our passports to get into mexico!

On the drive back to redondo we drove through Laguna Beach and Newport which was awesome, it was very rich and full of good looking people.

Spent our last few days at Hermosa, did a bike ride along the beach, had some nice dinners and just chilled out ready for Fiji. We did have to make a stop at the famous Cheesecake Factory which sells the most delicious cheesecakes in the world!
