Hi everyone!

it has been a few days since i posted but possibly the best days so far!

Europe continues to amaze me and draw me into its charm!

I am currently sitting in an internet cafe in a tiny town call Lauterbrunnen, located at the foot hills of the Swiss Alps - Where we are staying is approx. 1000m above sea level.

Switzerland is amazing, clean, beautiful and expensive ($11.00 for a Maccas Meal hehe - please note i have not had Maccas since being in Europe and the ). Today we travelled to the highest point in Europe.

We travelled by train to Jungfrau which is 4000m above sea level on a good day you can see the Black Forest of Germany and numerous other places across Europe. Unfortunately it was snowing up there but we went out into the snow anyway even at MINUS 5 degrees! It was Mitchs first time in the snow so that was cool for him. They also had an ice palace up there which was great it was made from ice and had all ice sculptures inside! We came down from up there because at 4000m above sea level it caused us to get head aches and become tired. The views were amazing! it was SOO high up it definitely was a great trip.

I have also spent Friday evening and Saturday in the City of Love - PARIS!

I do not know where to begin from the stairs at Montmatre - actually Montmatre in general (this was the one place i HAD to visit whilst in Paris) to the Eiffel Tower, Le Louvre, Sacre Couer, Notre Dame, Champ Elysees (the road of sparkling diamonds and rubies - referring the how busy the street is in the evening and the cars moving away from the Arc'd Triumph creating diamond coloured lights and the cars moving towards the Arc'd triumph creating wonderful ruby lights on their cars.)  Arc'D Triumph and the Sienne River - this place is truly spectacular and was beyond any of my wildest fantasies of what the would hold for me.

Montmatre - walking up the infamous stair case leading to the Sacre Couer (this can be seen from all parts of the city as it was purposely built on the hill for the cities viewing- other then this hill Paris is COMPLETELY FLAT), I gazed at the sparkling Eiffel Tower from the top of the stairs as if a reward for making it that far. This was my first viewing of the Tower and the whole city and it is one memory i shall never forget. Wandering by myself completely alienated. I make my way to the Monmatre Square - lively music, loud mumbles from the diners at the endless alfresco cafes, Painters selling their pictures for an income - amazing painting at that. This was the square where the likes of Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, Degas and Pissaro painted and began what is now known as the impressionist movement in the art worls. It was spectacular, being such a small soul in a lively city. Treading on the cobbled streets and familiarising myself with the reality which is Paris.

The next day I started at the Eiffel Tower, spectactular spectacular is all that needs to be said. 600 stairs later i was standing above the city of paris peering at the Sacre couer, Arc D Triumph , Nap[oloeons Tomb the Sienne and the Louvre. I only went to the Second level which is still really high. Mitch decided h wanted to make his way to the top level, level 3 which was the last time i saw him for 3 hours!

Please do not ask how you can manage to lose some one on the Eiffel tower - mitch and managed to do this after hours of trying to find opne and other i left the tower and made my way tot he bottom to find mitch waiting for me. I thought he had left with out me so was quite worked up and after a few heated words we seperated and went our own ways for the day.

This meant that i  was to find a WONDERFUL friesian horse, which i patted and what not i then boarded the Le Rouge Car (the red double decker bus) and made my way to the Louvre.

The Louvre it is impossible to know where to start with this! The Louvre is MASSIVe - huge and long. And houses throusands upon thousands of the worlsds art works. I got lost in the louvre for a few hours - constantly trying to find the Mona Lisa, I eventually found the Smile and speak some time looking at the painting. It definitely wasnt as little as everyone made out it to be but there was defintely something intriguing about the image once you looked pastt he boundaries and the glass coverings.

I then randomly bumped into mitch and we went through soem more of the Louvre together. We thenn headed to the Notre Dame and then back onto the Les Rouge Cars to head back to the Eiffal tower after an open top tour of the city.

Welcomed with a Buffet Dinner we then headed to the sienne for a river cruise!

Well this has been it so far I will update you again soon over the next few days i will be heading to Avignon in France and then to Barcelona in Spain
