Day 76:
I woke up about 2.30 am to hear a car alarm go off about 4/5 times, I thought it was a car a few along from us, I got up and undone the tent and couldn't see anything, so I went back to sleep. The next thing I remember was Danielle shouting my name and saying that the window has been broken. I got down and our drivers side window had been smashed but it appeared that nothing had been taken and we had the iPad laying on the girls bed, iPod, a camera and the radio all on the floor in the front of the van. We called the police and we waited up for about an hour but no one turned up. So we went to sleep. I woke up about 10am and still no police, so Leanne gave them another call, but yet again they failed to turn up. It wasn't until I went to the front of the van to get the toothpaste out her bag, that I noticed her bag had been taken. We went around a few of the roads and alleys near by, but nothing. We called jucy and they said if we can put up with it for one more night they would refund us ones days payment when we give the van back and then swap our van with another one the next day. We then called the local police station and the officer was rude on the phone to Danielle. We then drove to the nearest police station and had to report it there. (the police officer was so miserable in there it was unbeleivable). After all the pissing about and waiting 8 and a half hours for the police to even turn up, or not as it was. We then headed to a caravan site called Melbourne-Craigieburn and when we got there, it was f***ing shut. (not happy). We then found one on the iPad called hush caravan site, we drove there and it cost us $30 for all 3 of us just to park on there site. (it was a s*** site at that). We then just watched a couple of films and had some pasta and settled down for the night.
End of day 76
