The Sacred Valley was just the warm up.Today we experienced the long awaited, and much hyped, Machu Picchu, and it was definetely worth the hype. Being in rainy season, combined with our luck...it rained. however the occassion was not spoilt, and the sun and heat progressed into the afternoon. After missing our flight to peru, lima, we were able to get the next flight out 24 hours later, and as filled you in previously we had to sleep in the airport, with about 20 other people in the departure lounge. after waving off our two good friends we made, i was able to get no sleep at all, and claire who had the sleeping bag had a nice sleep. what a surprise!! she sleeps everywhere-crazy!! slept on the 5 hour flight to lima, flat out even during take-off....

So its been a while since we last updated you, and its been a VERY hectic one, but fab all the same...... where to start?!! from floronapolis of brazil, we travelled (together still i hasten to add!) north to Curitiba, a large well developed town for a couple of days.not as much interest there as other places but interesting none-the- less, i.e. the public transport system is considered the best in brazil, and is also one of the cleanest too. more interest...

hey folks, another paragraph to wrap your minds round, however dans narrating this time so may be a bit shorter! so from the iguazu falls, that is the argentine side, we have crossed over into brazil. far more stickier and hot, 35 degrees above is quite the norm, not for us english kids tho, claire and i are sitting behind a computer skin looking a nice shade of red! however it seems to enjo y raining in the afternoon here, well more like full scale storms. ...
