hey folks, another paragraph to wrap your minds round, however dans narrating this time so may be a bit shorter! so from the iguazu falls, that is the argentine side, we have crossed over into brazil. far more stickier and hot, 35 degrees above is quite the norm, not for us english kids tho, claire and i are sitting behind a computer skin looking a nice shade of red! however it seems to enjo y raining in the afternoon here, well more like full scale storms. the jouney here, floronapolis (think thats how u spell it) that is, was not as smooth as the rest of our travelling has been. we spent more or less a whole day and a half either on a bus or in a bus station! met some cool people on the way tho, how often do u find yourself talking israeli politics, and being taught magic in a bus station by a guy called 'guy'- from israel, absolute legend who fancies himself as a magician- claire was very impressed though- nice to have her baby-sat for a few hours! after a slow bus ride-15 hours, arrived at the popular brazilian holiday resort of floronapolis, an island off mainland brazil- thrives on a surfing culture. abslute paradise after manouvering out of a rip-off situation, with the help of some irish girls, who we are now sharing a real nice apartment with on the beach front- and what a beach, only one of 42 gorgeous beaches around the island. today, bfore the rain flooded our plans, we visited two more of the amazing beaches, one an international surf competition beach- puts newquay to shame!, and the other one which stretched for miles and surrounded by massive sand-dunes, which you could sand-board down- hence the picture!. whats quite odd about this place though is the fact that dogs literally roam round the beaches and streets in gangs-each have there own funny characteristic too which is funny dont worry parents, wé are both still eating pretty well, you get a buffet here where you pay by the kilo, bargaintatious! and claire is surviving without her hair straightners to everyones surprise back home, and mine. well moving out tomorrow to curitiba, a few hours north, hopefully hitting rio in about 4 days or so! love to all friends and family
