Cairns to Brisbane Camper van trip:

We had 6 days to get to Brisbane and along the way stopped off at various hot spots on the East Coast. We didn't have much time to visit things as we only had 6 days and it was a loooooong way, so lots of driving between things. We did however visit some beautiful waterfalls - Milla-Milla, Zillie & Ellinjaa falls were a highlight. The scenery all the way down the coast was so green and totally not something you would think Australia would be like, it was beautiful. We also visited Mission Beach and Murray falls. We stopped off in Airlee Beach which is where the Whitsunday Islands lie. Unfortunately we had no money or time to sail around the Whitsundays but we did swim in the amazing lagoon (swimming pool) with the views of the white sand islands, That was good enough for us! Weirdly we crossed the tropic of Capricorn and the nights straight away went from being unbearably hot to nice and cool. Weird!!
