After a long trip we have arrived in Sapa. We snoozed on the train then arrived at Lao Cai and boarded our bus for the hour drive up the mountain to Sapa. On our 3.5 hour bus trip back to Hanoi after our Halong bay adventure. It has been spectacular in every way except for the haze. We were hoping that we would have beautiful blue skies but that doesn't seem to happen in Vietnam with all the smog. Kicking back at the Win hotel in crazy Vietnam. We are in the old quarter of Hanoi and our hotel is an old 5 story house that is full of charm and character. It is fantastic. The traffic is just nuts. I'm not really sure that there are any road rules apart from the requirement to use your horn every 50 meters.
