So this needs to be quick as dinner is ready. Again another magic view from camp that the iPod cant do justice, but to be honest we don't think anything can.
A tough but rewarding day, we hiked over the equivalent of a Munro to reach 4200m by 9.30! By lunch we had covered a lot of ground before hitting some spectacular Inca sites. It really is scary when you stand on these things and realise the steepness and scale of them, not to mention the location.
Food has been fantastic and we cannot find an appropriate way to describe how fantastic the porters are - They start after us after clearing up camp, carry 80kg on their back, hike faster than us to get to the next camp, set up and cook for us before we arrive! Did I mention they did things like that while walking a Munro in one morning at altitudes four times the height of Ben Nevis!?! Amazing

Breige Couldn't stop laughing....we have 1st hand experience here in Tejas (dealing with the locals). Talk about steal the eye out of your head and come back for the eyelashes syndrome. You are experiencing it first hand. Glad to hear you are being lighthearted about it. One word of caution, always stay in a group. Have fun and enjoy every minute of it!!! Happy TRAILS
