We had to take the Oz Experience bus earlier than expected so we got back on the bus on Sunday 20th and travelled to Jindabyne in the snowy mountains region where we had a bite to eat and then made our way to Australias tallest mountain, Mt Kosciusko. It is 2800m and part of that way is on the ski lift (Italy memories) but you can see views for miles and even have a coffee at Eagle Nest's restaurant, again the tallest restaurant in Australia! Then it was back at the 5 star hotel called the 'Riverside Inn' for a German bar meal and a night out with the guys from the bus. It was up again early the next morning to set off for Canberra which was 5 hours away, we had some misgivings about Canberra because we had heard that there was not much to do but as Australia's capital it is purely for industry and houses the Parliament buildings. We went to Australias national museum for an hour then it was a a 3 hour bus journey up tp Sydney where we were created with free drinks vouchers to end our trip. happy days!!! The night continued and the bus crew were great so all in all it was a fab trip!!!
