We had a great time at the lake . The water is so warm and so is the air temp. It was in the mid to high 90'S. I'm getting so good on the wakeboard u won"t recognize me lol!! Your uncle steve has a very hard time getting into the tube for tubbing U would have died laughing. Not to mention our card game Sat. night - we died laughing. Playing with mammaw and my family-who needs to drink. It's like playing with a bunch of drunks.
Anyway, I loved your pics especially ones in York. That Chapter House is amazing. I think you need to change fraternities to that one. The seats look a little uncomfortable But everything else is great!!!!!!!!!!! lol Thanks for more pics of oxford. Did u change your mind about Windsor to go one afternoon. Windsor on a day trip all by itself cause the tour will take 2-3 hours and there is tons to see in london and it takes about an hour to get ther from London or an hour from Oxford Love u . Nick is with Stacie at Cape cod and new york for 2 weeks..& he's being a wimp at the lake cause his foot is still messed up from graduation.But he hasn't beento the lake in about a month now. ok I'm done.

I'm waiting to do Windsor Castle the weekend that I do London so that I can leave early catch the changing of guards and head to London. Do you really think I need to see the changing of guards b/c Rick Steve's guide doesn't play it up like he does to Westminister or Buckingham? Bristol is due west of London, southwest of Oxford. I didn't go into those churches b/c I went there after Glastonbury, so it was around 9 pm, too late. Is Nick going to the lake? if so make him do flips. Someone needs to step it up.

Danny ,after I go for my walk I check the computer to see if you've posted anything and today I got your pics of Bristol &Glastonbury but no jounal so I bet your writing it now between classes. Tell me what direction from u is Bristol I guess i need a map of England.. & how did u get there? The churches are beautiful!! Tell me u went in them especially St. mary's and Bristol station. U've been making outside pics that leeds me to think that u aren't going in and I don't know how u could miss that. Have a fun weekend . We're going to the lake with Uncle Steve & family. Danny, don't forget Windsor Castle. U should be able to do it on a day trip too. Look in the London frommers & see if there is a web site to see if the queen is there cause it could be closed that day or ask a local student about that. Try to see Windsor, you'll love it. Love ya!!! MOM

We flew to Ireland. Travel is a little easier in the UK b/c of English but it wasn't hard in other places b/c most people spoke English. We did have a little trouble getting to the airport though b/c we went to London for a little while before the flight and we had the wrong location for a bus pickup so we had to get on the rail instead. Coming back was interesting too b/c we wanted to see the World Cup game so we were at a bar in the airport but far from our gate so we had to sprint to our gate after the game ended, making it there 15 min. before the scheduled takeoff (it actually was delayed 10 min.) For Scotland I'm taking the rail, stopping in the lake district on the way up and York on the way back. People are calling me "cruise director" b/c I plan out all these trips; I'm probably seeing more stuff than anyone. I'm really glad w/ my class choices b/c I get done at 12:50 so I can easily do all these day trips.

OK, it was operator error. Thanks. Did u fly to ireland or take a boat? Is it a hassle to get to other countries or pretty easy. I imagine that when it is in english that helps alot. How r u getting to Scotland? How is your soccer game ? U have no cleats or shin guards. Are u playing w/ your group or pick up games with the Brits? Have a great day everyday!!!!!!! Crap I must not have saved my Ireland entry. Check out my new album that is a mix of other peoples pictures. Some are very good b/c there's two guys who can take greta pics. My typical day in oxford consists of waking up and eating breakfast b4 my 8:20 class. I get out at 9:30 then have till 11:20-12:50 for another class. In the afternoon I sometimes try to workout a little, making do w/ what I have: a bookbag and books. Play a little soccer and tennis before and after dinner, which is at 6:30. A few nights I've been to some local bars and clubs. Now that the World cup is over we don't have anything to watch in our campus pub so hopefully I'll get out and check other places out more. After class today I'm going to Stratford upon Avon, where Shakespeare was from. That's about it.
