Danny--Your pics of winchester are amazing. But wait till you see the new paint job we put on the house. Hope you're impressed. If not, tough. We had another great night at the f'ville pub with paces, myers and smelleys. Nick and chris were a no-show. Mom has the cruise booked. Mom says she told you wrong. Kevin, I'll definitely be back in the fall for the ND game. Hopefully it wont be disappointing. I've only got 11 more days here. I'm the only one from church here, but Megan Smelley probably will be coming next summer.

The ACC had it's preseason conference meetings this week. Calvin was voted the "Preseason ACC Player of the Year," for whatever that is worth.

Is there anyone else from church over there with you? I know a couple of other kids from church went to Tech with you. Anyone I know?

To Belyeu and Kristin: I'm coming back on the 6th and my parents might be planning a cruise the 10-14, so we'll have to get together b/w then. On the gf situation, I'm always open.

Kevin: Oxford is fantastic as you can see, unfortunately you have to be enrolled at Tech to be part of the program. However, I have seen lots of cool stuff and can tell you where you should go if you ever want to travel Europe.

Mom: yeah the chinese food wasn't great but it was cheap, and I definitely picked out the orange peels to eat. Where are the $1 margaritas in Fayetteville? I have been looking online at places in England and really wanted to see the palace at Brighton, so I told Lindsey about it and she put together the train times.

Danny, I saw your BIG pitcher of the fruit drink u told us about. U did mean friut ! Did u eat he fruit afterwards cause the food didn't look so good. Not near as good as our mexican food that we'll eat with the Paces tomorrow. It has become a tradition on Tues. $1 marguerita night now. Chris and nick are supposed to come home tomorrow for it. and I think the Smelleys are coming too. This is our attempt at pubs in Fayetteville. I loved Henry Iv's palace. So was that about 2 hours from Oxford and who found it?

I saw your parents yesterday in church. They told me what you were doing and obviously you are having a great time. I do have one question, what exactly are you studying and how do I get involved. To ask how your summer is going would be silly. Hope you make it home safely and in time for the Notre Dame game. It looks like it might be hard to get you back in the school mode.

Danny ,I talked to Megan today and Jennifer ate dinner with us. Everybody's doing great except Zack had a bad wreck and totaled his trailer and pressure washing stuff, luckily he was not hurt. Chris graduates Aug 4 so u'll miss it . Maybe we'll go somewhere when u get back or do u just want to chill here at the pool. mom

Mom, dorm life is fine except it's pretty hot over here and there's no AC. They're in a drought and the heat is unusual. I'm washing my clothes on campus w/ the few washer and dryers we have here. They're pretty big so I can just throw all my clothes in one load. Classes are going pretty well, I don't have to do much at all for psychology and I've written my 2nd essay for ethics so I have no more work in there until the final. We don't really interact w/ the locals, except for some people getting in fights w/ them at bars, lol. What do you mean see more of the campus? It's really small, there's the dining hall, pub and seating area outside it, pond, playing fields, and field to relax on.

4. R u interacting with the local kids , or r u isolated from them- that's what it looks like from here?
