Only 12 days to go before we set off on our long awaited trip! The days are flying past now and although we have been getting things together for ages, there still seems to be lots of last minute bits and pieces to get done. Nevertheless I am sure that by the 15th we will be all set to go.
We have been checking the weather conditions in the US regularly and it will be pretty hot in most places we go - up to the century mark in many of them. Still it is summer over there and we won't need any warm clothes at all I reckon. It will be a bit of a shock to leave mid winter here and arrive into the heat of the US summer!
