Prior to leaving Karratha we went to visit Jane and Robert at their work, at Atom, to say our goodbyes. We then went and stocked up on supplies before heading out to look at the Aboriginal petroglyps at Deep Gorge in Murujuga National Park, which is one of the most prolific Aboriginal art sites in the world. We arrived back in Karratha, did some shopping, bought some mask and snorkels for snorkelling down at Ningaloo. Had a lazy afternoon back at Jane and Roberts house. After they arrived home from work we went up to the TV lookout and watched the sun set, enjoyed a couple of drinks and cooked up some homemade pizzas. We arrived at Wickham to catch up with Sandra and Ness. As Beth and Shaun were in the process of moving from two houses into one, we pulled the bus into Beth's old house that she had just moved out of. We all went down to the Walcott Sailing Club where volunteer's cook up servings of fish and chips for $10 an adult serve, sell drinks and all this is enjoyed under the shade of trees overlooking the water. Left the free camp did some shopping and arrived at Jane and Roberts house at Karratha. The afternoon was pulling DABUS apart and trying to clean off some of the red dust that got into everything. Heaps of washing was also completed. We had a lovely afternoon with Jane and Robert, they had another engagement on, so after dinner we had an early night watching movies.We had a lovely and leisurely cooked breakfast with Jane and Rob before heading up to Wickham.

Dampier was our destination for the day, after washing the bus and trying to get some of the red dirt out of it. We overlooked the wharf which was loading more ships up with iron ore, whilst having lunch. Found the monument of Red Dog and took some pic's with him. We then went out to the North West Shelf Gas Plant Visitors Centre which was very informative. Stop at Hearson Cove before heading back to the free camp near the Nickol's River.
