Swiss alps have left me totally in awe. This place is so amazing I love it here! Might be getting a bit repetitive, but Europe is truly beautiful, every place leaves me standing and admiring.

So I was lucky enough to stay in an amazing log hostel in a valley of the Swiss alps, either side of me were huge snow capped mountain ranges. There are a massive 72 waterfalls in the area and everyone is as gorgeous as the last. The major waterfall in town has a walking track to right amongst it. You walk up stairs through little caves and pop up somewhere up the cliff looking out over the town through a mist of water it's so stunning.

Swiss alps is all about the activities; skydiving, paragliding, canyoning, hiking! I wasn't to extreme during my stay but I still had an amazing time. I met some awesome people and spent the days exploring the lushes landscape, reading under bridges of rapid rivers and lazing in fields on warm afternoons. Night times were cosy, we kept rugged up played card games and cooked big group dinners. I really enjoyed the people I was with and made some pretty ridiculous memories with them.

I met a group of young melbourne hipsters, they were really cool girls and I got to spend some time with them both in lauterbrunenner and Lucerne. Unfortunately they have moved onto Oktoberfest and left me in the Swiss alps to spend time with some girls I met months ago on my Greek island adventure. Its getting cold now, I'm finally pulling out my big jackets and scarfs that I've been carrying around for months. I'm going to head out today and get stocked up with winter gear as it looks like it's settled in for me for a while. I'm actually excited for some cold weather, to experience Europe in a different way. I had initially wanted to chase summer and keep warm but plans constantly change for me. I love the consistent opening of opportunity that Europe offers!

I'm now sitting relaxing and drinking a delicious hot chocolate, kicking myself that I'm in the Swiss alps, life is good!
