Again we got up at 4 am for morning service and at first I wasn't tired but after a while I couldnt help but dozed off and Peter tells me that I was snoring. I don't usually snore. How embarrassing. I must of been really tired.
After service we went back to bed for a little sleep and it stated raining and thundering. We were mean't to got to a nearby skeet today by boat but those plans were cancelled due to the weather. I was sort of glad because I was feeling a little run down. We had morning coffee and folded a few boxes for Father Serafim then helped peel potatoes and prepare lunch.
For dinner we had left overs from lunch klitharaki, kolokithi, feta, bread, wine, salad and a boiled egg.
Today was a relaxing day.
I also purchased incense and Father Serafim gave me a gift the icon of St Fanourio (my mum alwad prays to this saint when she's lost something)
Tomorrow is our last day, we leave for Thessaloniki at 9.30am
Sort of sad but the journey must go on. I'll miss Father Serafim and Lazaros the novice monk. The're hospitality has remained with me as a template on how to be hospitable to my guests.
