Last day in Banos and we decided to be lazy and hang out in town all day. We had a great fish lunch in the market at Esteban's mom's fish restaurant. I had shrimps with rice which was delicious. omer and I walked to the bridge where they do the bungee jumping (or swinging as they call it here) but nobody was jumping today. We bought our bus tickets to Tena and tomorrow we are heading to the jungle! Can't wait but I am going to miss Banos.
We had a great Shabbat dinner tonight in the hostel with the group of Israelis that are here. Schnitzels and Israeli salads were a really nice way to say goodbye to this great town. I can understand why Sivanne settled here for so long.
As I am sitting here writing there was a huge explosion that shook the whole room and rattled the windows. Looks like it is time to leave before they have to put their evacuation plan into effect! Bye bye Tunguruhua!
