Scarborough is a smaller place that welcomes tourism but does not appear to focus on it. Lots of small shops and stalls. Nice people. Didn't appear to have any major hotels or resorts, but if one likes "off-the-beaten-path" tourism, you might find it here. Small basic botanic park which is a good walk and close to the pier.

Port of Spain, Trinidad is not primarily a tourist town. It is the seat of government and a port and business centre. Some effort is being made to modernize the city and renovate historical buildings. There were a few tours outside of town but nothing that attracted us so we stayed in town.
