Agnes Water, part 2!
So it took me 21 hours on a bus to get back here... It was long! But worth it in the end! :)
What a wonderful few weeks, I've loved every moment and have made some friends for life. Working at Backpackers @ 1770 doing reception work and housekeeping for a few hours a week, in return for accommodation. So pretty handy really! It's all very laid back and most days consist of the same activities, beach, pool, walks, surfing, chilling in the hammock... A hard life really! The experience was definitely made by the people I've met. Felt welcome straight away and like is joined a little family. Jess, Rosie, Marie, Freddie, Marlon, Immy, Vic, Emily, Stu, Hardy, Nick, Nat, Sven, Jules and various guests who have stayed with us along the way!
Most of our evenings have been spent having a few drinks and playing cards. Occasionally, beer pong and flip cup which don't always end up too well. Had some fun at the Tavern dancing to live old school acoustic music and playing pool. Late night beach trips, playing music and having a cheeky swim! We had a party down at Beachside Hostel where I originally stayed which was strange not having Danni or Hannah there! It was a fun night and good to meet other people in the area. Jules got his DJ set out and we danced and played ping pong in the downstairs area.
It really was the idyllic lifestyle for an English person. What more do we want... Sun, sea and sand! Stupidly of me I have left it too long in writing this that it is all a bit hazy and feels like a lifetime ago. I have very fond memories of my time there and the people I met!
