Arrived in Athens last night and pretty much laid low, exploring my immediate area and finding a restraunt with delicious food called Mani Mani - yummy meatballs, traditional pasta and a dessert that was orangey and yogurty and just damn delicious. Today up bright and early to beat the crowds at the Acropolis, which was a good good thing as by 10am it felt like a crush! Then off to some other historical sites and the flea market before having progress halted by a protest :P. Now a short rest at the hostel before heading back out...still deciding if I'm heading for the Acropolis museum or the national gardens and the Temple of Zeus.
