Today's journey took us along dirt rural roads running through rice fields. It was another very bumpy ride between all the potholes and rocks. We made our way towards the mountains and had a good stretch of hill climbing. We were in the middle of nowhere so lucky there were hardly any cars on that stretch.
The views were breathtaking. Our lunch break was road side at a pepper farm. As we made our way out of our climbing stretch and onto the main city roads we got hit with some fierce winds and rain. We all pushed forward into the wind and eventually it died down.
We were all happy to arrive in a beautiful little town called Kampot which used to be the main port of Cambodia.
Getting close to the end of the trip, with one more ride day left tomorrow.
Last leg of the ride to Sihanoukville - hitting to roads early to beat the heat and finish early!
