Well hello to everyone. Very excited as it is free internet at our hostel so you may see a few entries the next couple of days!! We are now in Singapore so relieved as it has been the hardest journey yet by far!!!!

Are you all sitting comfortably?!?!? I shall begin....Well it all started on a boiling hot day in Koh Samui. Frankie was nursing approx 15 blistered midgie bites in her legs yes 15!!! We were packed and ready for the off to Penang. The taxi (20 mins) took us to the port, then we had a 3 hour ferry ride .... not too bad I hear you say!! Then we had an 8 hour wait for our train in Surat Thani AKA the bronx!! Whilst waiting in the bronx I managed to get a few more bites to add to the collection!!!! After our 8 hour wait we got an the train which was at 2 in the morning to Butterworth (by Penang) this took us 12 hours!! Then at Penang the fun was not over we had to pile onto a ferry, we had to stand in a huge crowd to get to the ferry there was no system no queuing just push!! It was super busy as the Muslim Ramadan fast had just finished so it was a big holiday!! And as you could imagine my hubby and I stood out like sore thumbs!!!!! So the journey all together took us 26 hours!! Last night we could not speak!! When we arrived in Penang it was the BEST!!!!!! We stayed in a really posh hotel for 30 pounds for the 2 of us!! There was a buss boy that took our bags up to our room and everything!! Oh and we had room service as I could not move!! I could so get used to that!! So we flew today to Singapore which was so quick and better than 2 more days on a train that is for sure!!!! So we have just landed at our hostel which is very nice and like I say free internet and coffee so we will be wired and typing over the next couple of days! We are both very excited for Australia and ready for surfing action (keeping in on the Oz theme Adam the dingo day what was that about France??????) Come on ENGLAND!!!!!! Remember Mr Day we are related now and this gives me licence to give you grief and I hope that you will support us in the final remember where you live now!!!!!!! Well we are hoping to go to an Orchid garden tom and to a night safari as we have been mega lazy the last week or so we will get lots of pics to show you all. Keep sending us the messages it is nice to read them.

Alreeet! Chris here not much more to add to that i think frankie has summed up the last 2 days quite nicely! So glad to be in singapore in a nice clean hostel with lots of friendly people around! Looking back now the journey down here was quite funny but at the time it was pretty damn tense - we were both knackered, Frankie wasnt feeling well and i thought i might get some wife rage at one point but she did very well! Well apart from when she sprayed mosquito repellent in here eye outside a restaurant (well more like a hovel with a kitchen and some seats) and I had to douse her eyeball with about a litre of bottled water!!! Great fun! The locals seemed to be loving the show anyway!

Right time to go and find a bar i reckon!
