I just wanted to say hello and thank you for writing about your journey. I've printed off today's posting to take it to François' soccer game to read during the quiet moments. I can't imagine what you're experiencing. It must be overwhelming and exhilarating at the same time. Keep your chins up and continue what you're doing. It is wonderful. Chapeau!!

We are starting to work on fixing up the property at our new house in Aylmer. It is a bit overwhelming right now. The property is pretty big, takes forever to mow, and hadn't been maintained for a while. There are a few dead trees to be removed, a few badly placed ones to be taken out, and a huge parking lot of a driveway to remove and replace with grass and a small parking area. The perennial beds and pond will have to wait for another year (or two or three or four...). Thankfully I have lots of beautiful containers from a past life to fill with flowers and place around the yard because there won't be any of the fun gardening done this year.

Hope all is well, and remember, nothing beats the cold like stuffing jalepeno peppers in your face, then rubbing your eyes, then stubbing your toe. It doesn't really make it warmer, but it sure makes you forget how cold it is! : )

Just a quick hello from home. May is winding down very quickly and there are only 6 more Fridays left in this school year. With exams and all the end of year work there will not be much play time until July. Shauna and Jason will be in NG for July 1st and on July 2 I go to SJ to visit my new grandson!! The trip to Italy and Greece has been approved and fundraising has begun in earnest. Gram and John are in PEI for a Harvey family reunion and when I saw them on Mother's Day they were doing fine. Everyone else is well and waiting for more updates. Take care, watch the sky and see all the little things that will help make this a memorable trip.
