Arrived in Cairns in the early hours of the 4th June. Had the pleasure of sleeping at the airport until a human time where I got my hostel to pick me up from the airport. It was so nice to get a few hours sleep that morning, especially after loosing 2 hours from the journey from the west to the east coast of Australia. In the afternoon I had a wonder to the lagoon where I sunbathed for the first time in 2 months. It is definately not sunbathing weather in Nyabing at the moment. Have had to sleep with an electric blanket on it was so cold at night! I was pretty sad to leave my little town in the country though. It is not often you find somewhere you fit in so well.

On my second day on Cairns I planned all my tours back down to Brisbane. Including 2 nights up at Cape Tribulation and Sailing round the Whitsundays. It wasn't very good weather so went to see Pirates 3 in the evening, arrrrh!

Why are Pirates called Pirates??

Cause they Arrrrrh!
