Hoi An is a delightful old port town on the Thu Bon river filled with quaint old house painted in various shades of yellow, it is considerably quieter than the Ho Chi Minh or Nha Trang and the meandering streets are filled with shops and tailors displaying beautifully crafted dresses. This morning we got up early and went on a boat to the floating market, this was not a tourist market but a local wholesale market with boats loaded with fresh fruit and vegetables to be purchased in bulk.
