Spent most of the morning trying to figure out how the bloody hell are we going to get to Venice! It wasn't as easy as we had hoped but we eventually sorted it out. After that we had a stroll around the city square before heading home to back our bags ready to catch the overnight bus to Trieste.

Lazy day today. Slept in then went out for lunch to a little place that our hosts strongly recommended. They were spot on to as it was the best food we had eaten since being in the country. We then spent the rest of the day at the beach, before dinner on the water front and a few drinks whilst listening to a blues band belt out a few tunes.

Bus trip up to Split today. Took about 4 and a half hours to drive 200kms but it's not too bad when you have a view of the most stunning coastline you will ever see for most of the journey! Once in Split we made our way to the villa where we were staying. A quick dip at the beach and a bite to eat and our day was done.
