Today was a bit less hectic but not by much. Started with a boat cruise down the River Thames. After that we made our way over to the world famous Harrods shopping centre, a wonderful place but a bit pricey for commoners like us! From there we went to the Convent Gardens where we wondered around the markets, watched the street performers, then went to the Lyceum theatre and enjoyed the West End production of the Lion King.

Another jammed packed day today. Started off at Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guard ceremony. After that we walked to Trafalgar square and had a stroll around the National Gallery. We then hopped on an open bus for a tour around London. A stroll around the Tower of London was next on the cards, an amazing place with so much history. Hamleys toy store was our last call before we retired after a big day.

Sightseeing in London today. Started off with the London Eye. Amazing views from the top. We then strolled around Big Ben and Westminster Abbey before heading to Maddam Tussuads Wax Museum. After that, shopping down Oxford st was on the cards. Amy was like a kid in a candy store with all the jewelry shops around and the excitement almost became too much when we found Tiffany and Co.!!

Nothing exciting today. Drove from Ffrith to Birmingham to drop off our hire car then caught the train into London. Rained all day. Had possibly the greatest desert ever that night!!

Day 3 It was a bit strange to get up early for a wedding but that was the case as the ceremony started at 10:30am. After the church service we drove to another small village for lunch in an old pub. The 3 course meal was sensational and we ate so much that we didn't even need to eat dinner! After a long lunch it was back to the Ffrith community hall for the very casual reception with lots of drinking and traditional dancing to the Celtic music being played by...
