So we got up quite early to leave for Dunedin... Another 3 hr drive in the pouring rain..we finally found the motoway and it was so windy we had to take it quite slow! So Dunedin is the biggest city we had been to so far.. or atleast it looked bigger due to the heavy traffic and people everywhere.. so being very unorganised we hadnt yet booked a hsotel..we tried driving around the centre looking for somewhere to rest our heads..So this is where the trouble be...

So we left Hi-de-hi for a drive to KaKa point..we had decided to stop at Invercargill for lunch and a look around but considering the weather was soooo horrible we just parked the car and ran to subway!! result!! Off we were again on our journey to Kaka point...the weather was so rubbish but we had great fun with lots of car karaoke!! (I miss you Caitlin)... Arriving in Kaka point we found the signpost to the hostel up against a hill...hmmm wheres the building....

Woke up and had tea and toast on the farm! and surprisingly clear heads considering how much fun we had all had in Denedin! So we loaded up Queenie said thank you and off we went yet again in the pouring rain! But before we left Dunedin we wanted to find Baldwin St.. The steepest street in the world! .. Wasnt too hard to find...Even with Jayne's encouragement there was no way Lisa was gonna try and drive up it in an automatic vitara!!! hahaha We were on our way...

So after a good few fantastic days relaxing in Queenstown and partying away with all of our kiwi experience buddies we decided we could spare enough money to hire a car for a few days! get in!! We said goodbye to lots of friends we had made but were especially sad to part ways with Mary, Nick, Lyndsey, Guy, Zoe, Rich E, Angela, Rich W, Jim, Sarah, Tom, Daf, Will (chewy) and last but not definately not least Zack!! So after getting used to changing rooms at BASE...

Woke up early in the morning, Lisa in lots of pain with her back!! Heading to Lake Wanaka, of course there was the option of a lovely hike!!! But niether of us were at all up for it!! So instead we sat in the cafe, jayne with sore legs and lisa trying to cope until the next lot of valium!! Managed to get some sleep on the bus before the next stop at a georgous waterfall!!
