We spent the last week on Surfaris Surf Camp, and had a fantastic week. We're sad it's over. Our days consisted of surfing, chilling on the beach, eating and drinking into the night.

We were able to surf all day long and were taken to the best available locations based on the conditions.. We didn't only learn how to stand up and surf, we also learned about the ocean weather conditions, reading the waves, finding the best spot and of course safety. We are now more than confident to rent a board and go surfing on our own.

The best part was probably that we didn't see any Sharks!

Other than surfing we made some good friends. We spent our evenings drinking the Goon (australian box wine), played cards, volleyball, and beer pong.

After a week of tumbles, pumbles, nosedives, catching waves and riding it out we have the surfing fever and suggest everybody should enjoy a week like the one we just had.

Now we're hanging out in Byron Bay for a couple nights and then move onto Noosa Heads...
