I spend the day looking around Penang. It is a vibrant place with lots of diverse architecture. Malaysia has many chinese, indian and malay people living here. The Malay people are mainly muslim, the chinese are buddhist and the indians are hindu so there are mainly different places of worship around here which include chinese temples, mosques and indian temples such as this one.

From Koh Pha Ngan, we leave our resort and take the long coach journey to Satun where we cross with the ferry and then drive to cross into the Malaysian border where we officially arrive into Malaysia! Here is a picture of us at the Thailand/Malaysian border with our passports! We then arrive at Penang, an small island off the coast of Malaysia where we spend two nights..

Today I take a little trip to Penang Hill where I take a cable car ride up to the top. There are fantastic views over the island.
