Here I am in Melaka, Malaysia. It is a nice little port. I have the opportunity to ride on a lovely decorated Rickshaw. We stay at a lovely place which has a jacuzzi on the top roof, with a lovely view. I get to sip cocktails and watch the sunset while relaxing in the jacuzzi, this is the life....

Well, here I have arrived in Kular Lumpar and I have spent the day looking around at the shops.. Its great for shopping girls!! I have a visit of the KL tower and take a grand view of the city and the Petronas Towers.

Still here at the Cameron Highlands, we visit the Butterfly farm, have some fresh strawberries and cream and in the evening I get to try a 'Steamboat' which is a traditional Malaysian meal. It consists of a large bowl being placed in the middle of the table where all us diners get to cook our own food. We put in a variety of meat, fish, vegetables and noodles into the hot stock, yummy!! It was good, well done Alex! (The chef!)

After Penang, we head back to the mainland and head south to the hill country of Cameron Highlands. Here I take a trek up to the misty jungle where I get all muddy!! Its so steep too! We then get to visit the Tea Plantation, here is a beautiful picture of the plantation. Here they make a tea called 'Bot' tea which is lovely and refreshing and not bitter.

I spend the day looking around Penang. It is a vibrant place with lots of diverse architecture. Malaysia has many chinese, indian and malay people living here. The Malay people are mainly muslim, the chinese are buddhist and the indians are hindu so there are mainly different places of worship around here which include chinese temples, mosques and indian temples such as this one.
