Although I'm still on the plane, we are about to land at the St. Petersburg airport. We have logged over 5,000 miles so far and much of it very uneventful with some turbulence. Hopefully upon arrival we will be met by our Vantage representative and since there are many people on the flight wearing the "official" name tag, I'm sure that will happen. After arrival at our hotel, the Radisson Royal Hotel which is located downtown in the heart of the historical district and on Nevsky Prospect, St. Petersburg's Main Street. We rate it superior as we have a spacious room, friendly staff, and even a free bottle of water each day. We will have a tour briefing, followed by a welcome dinner at the hotel and then I'm sure an early night as we adjust to the new time schedule. I've heard that it stays light very late here, so we will see if that rumor is true.
