So After catching up on some well needed rest we headed to breakfast and chilled for a bit before heading to the bus station to book our ticket to Arica the cost was ok and the journey would only be about 6 hrs so a little short one.

We headed back to the hotel picked our stuff up and jumped in a taxi bought some goodies for the journey then headed to the station.

We arrived in Arica around 9pm and headed to the hostel we threw our kit in and headed out for a coffee. It was late so we didn't really stay out that long, so we came back and chilled watched TV etc.

So up nice and early we wanted to look around and head to the beach so after breakfast we walked into town and had a mooch around it wasn't that big so we soon got pretty bored with that so we headed to the beach and chilled on there for the day.

On the way back to the hostel we bought dinner and some wine and headed back, I prepared dinner and we sat round and chilled drinking some lovely Chilean wine and munching on my delicious salad I made. Later on we pop down to the bar area and had a few beers.

The next day we headed again to the beach and chilled there was beach rugby on teams had come from Argentina and other places to it was a good afternoon the rugby was good its hard enough playing rugby but on sand as well fair play to the boys.

Afterwards we took a slow stroll back and bought some wine on the way back to the hostel, we chilled out watching TV and drinking our wine, We got ready as we was heading to a club later that evening we jumped in a taxi and of we went when we arrived the club was pretty quite but we grabbed our free Pisco Cola and sat down the club soon filled up they played some good music so we had a little dance and some more pisco I think we headed out of there around 4 in the morning it was a good evening.

As you can imagine we didn't surface till the afternoon we actually didn't feel to bad which was good as we really didn't have anything to do that day we just chilled out, it was nice to do nothing. Later that evening we headed out to dinner had a few drinks then an early night.

The next morning after breakfast we headed to the Bus station as we wanted to get into Peru so we got a taxi to the border it was about half an hour from Arica we went trough all the paperwork then once that was done we got the taxi to Tacna on the Peruvian side, once at the station we thought we was getting a connecting bus there and then to Arequipe but no such luck we had to wait till 5.30pm so we just chilled around the station till we got the overnight bus to Arequipe.
