We flew into JoBurg on Christmas Day and arrived in the morning. We stopped at the airport travel clinic for some Malanil. Even though the malaria risk was going to be low we thought better to be safe with the kids. We didn't see too many mosquitos over the course of the trip. Munich in the fall was wonderful. We drove to crazy Kingl Ludwigs castle Neuscheistien. That's not how yhou spell it but it's close. We traveled to Legoland between Munich and Stuttgart. It was a lot like legoland in san diego. Similar rides and the kids had equal amounts of fun. It was great driving around the German countryside.

Thanksgiving in Moscow. For the Americans living in Moscow they can preorder their turkeys and stuffing from the embassy. We went to a new teachers apt. on Saturday she had many of the new teachers over. It was very nice and quite a spread. Even the kids had fun. I'm getting to know the city in the car. Traffic is a nightmare, but not all of the time. The streets just don't make sense here. Some roads are massive with 5 lanes on each side. There are very few left...

Sue had her big 40th birthday yesterday. She got to experience snow before her birthday for the first time in moscow. And she got to celebrate Halloween on her birthday. These things have never happened to her before. It got really cold last and it snowed in the middle of October. But it has warmed up and the snow is gone soon to return soon.
