We flew into JoBurg on Christmas Day and arrived in the morning. We stopped at the airport travel clinic for some Malanil. Braner Let me know what you think of South Africa. J'burg was an experience that probably made the most impact on me of any place I've visited. Get a good 'tour' from a local company of Soweto... Mind boggling! Heading for Vietnam and Cambodia in the summer. Will have to exchange stories. I loved the wedding in the park. Been there. Beautiful. Starbucks was my favorite addition. When I was there in '95, McDonalds was the 'new' rage! All is going well. Great staff. Hope you're enjoying DOD again.... gb

linda stanley wilson Hi Bob, Sue, Sean, Ross- We are all looking forward to hearing more about your adventures and seeing the photos!!! I love the one of Starbucks and the one of the wedding in the park. My friends are going to South Africa for Christmas too. Dave is from there and visiting his mom. My friend Ginny is from the states, but they live here in Canada now. We're thrilled to hear that you might be coming to the Pacific Northwest for summer next year. So much to do and see here. We're off to Arizona for American Thanksgiving and then taking some January time to go back to Florida. Then we'll probably go to Palm Springs for Spring--not as adventurous as South Africa, but it is at least a different country! (and it is all to escape into the sun for a bit) Hugs to all of you!
