Hello All,

Brisbane was so similar to Cardiff it was frightening! You could swear that when walking down the main high street you were about to pass Cardiff Castle on your right...it even had a Queen St. The weather was not great so on the first day we went to the museum and botanic gardens, the latter not being the best choice considering the climate. Jim was particularly shaken by the wildlife, specifically large lizard-like creatures. To conclude our first day we went to the cinema to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Which we would all recommend.

On the second day we ventured across the bridge to visit Southbank and in the evening Teri cooked a delicious vegetable chilli...the rest of the day must not be spoken about for the benefit of Jims pride. Although we were abused by a very strange taxi driver (female)

The final day took us to breaking point so we decided to split up for just a little while (jokes)..............Jim and Cat hugged koalas and kangaroos whilst Teri and Phill wandered around the city taking in the sights.
