Fremantle today. First stop as soon as we got there was, as always, coffee. And a melting moment for me and Billy. Which is actually a giant viennese whirl but it sounds much posher. We went to the sheds for the market but, little did we know, they're not open on a Wednesday. Seeing as we were there we went over to the museum to look at the little wall things they have outside. They have thousands of names, when the people came to Australia and what boat they came on. I searched and found a 'Collins' and eventually we found a couple of 'Williamsons'. They have a huge submarine in dry dock and they do tour around it. I'll take everyone elses word for it. There is no way on earth I'd ever get inside it. The thought of it makes me not be able to breathe! We wander all through the town, to where the other markets are (but not on Wednesday), cappuccino row and back down to the waters edge to the bars and restaurants. We had fish and chips for lunch, overlooking the boats the fish came in on, and followed it with Baskin Robins ice cream. I literally needed to be rolled back to the ute.
It was a bbq at Rob and Fi's for dinner and we were all slightly concerned that we were all so full up for so long. Luckily by the time we got to eat the fish and chips had worn off. Rob did the tastiest steak and a chicken the he sat on a half empty can of beer. It was the most tender, flavoursome meat! We were all so impressed. We had a lovely eveing. Rob and Fi have a lovely home and were fab hosts. Molli had her work cut out with Levi who dug a trench in the garden and then got so over excited he ran into the closed patio door. There really isnt a dull moment.
