New York, New York Aug 17, 2008 Lots of history on this house. It is was built as a summer villa in 1765 & also used by George Washington during the revolution as military headquarters.
New York, New York Aug 17, 2008 Went to Harlem today to look at the oldest house in Manhatten, which is open to the public. I am fascinated with the architecture of all the different areas of New York and have taken lots of photos most of which I will have to download when I have more time.

(Had to edit this as I previously had the Williamsburg bridge - our tour guide was incorrect & Rick & I were right). Looked like rain in the morning, but turned out a great day.
