Well I'm sure you all thought we forgot about you but after fixing a few technical problems we are back to business with the blog so stay tuned because we have to bring you all up to speed quickly. The next destination on our journey is Nha Trang which was another night bus journey south from Hoi An, this place was quite a large city located on the eastern coast line with some lovely beaches. Our first day was an early arrival and a dander around to find a cheap place to stay, It was then time to go check the place out, our first stop was the beach were lots of people were sun bathing and drinking so we thought it rude not to join them, after meeting up with a few friends we headed out for dinner and ventured to a fancy club on the beach called sail club. The next day after waking up a bit fuzzy it was time to do some touristy stuff so we took a bike taxi to the aquarium, it had a very cool setting as a giant boat coming out of the cliff face and inside there was plenty of weird and wonderful things to be seen, my favourite being the giant turtles. On route home we got chatting to our taxi bike guy who was a bit mad and called himself Eddie Murphy, he actually was a good lookalike but the Vietnamese accent just didn't cut it. He offered us an easy rider day tour for the next day which we booked before he left us back to the hotel, with a busy day the next day we took it easy the rest of the evening.
Time for the easy rider tour and Eddies pal collected us early doors on route to our first destination, some temple the Cham people built, pretty cool but just another temple. Second stop was a manufacturing plant located on a footpath at the side of a main road, making basket boats for the local fishermen to use to bring in nets, cool to see how they were made but how they can row a round boat with one ore beats me. On the road again and we were headed to a dragon fruit farm to see how they were grown and to sample some fresh from the plant, surprisingly the fruit was delicious and proved a good snack before our onward journey to the highlight of our trip the waterfall. Once there we had quite a trek to the waterfall but it was worth every step, crystal clear water in untouched surroundings with a huge waterfall as high as the eye can see. Our tour guide then lead us up the rocks to our first cliff jump which was five meters and then to our second which was eight meters, scary stuff but class crack. On our way home we stopped to see the giant laying Buda and sitting Buda, very interesting trip made all the better by our slightly mad but hilarious tour guide.
Next stop on our adventure is Muine a bit further south down the east coast of Vietnam.
Hope everyone is keeping well at home and hope the cold is not annoying you's to much.lol
