Another destination now, and after a fairly horrible 6 hours, cramped, bug infested bus journey we made it to Mui Ne at 1.30am and made our way to our hostel to hit the pillow to get up early and see what there is to do in Mui Ne.
Up early and checked out our resort which was really nice and equipped with a really nice pool, so we just decided to have a relaxed day by the pool and see how it treated us.It was great fun, meeting new people and enjoying the sun.We met our first couple from home and ended up going out for food.I had been tipped off on a place that served Sunday roasts every day of the week and all four of us couldn't resist the temptation of it, it was roasts all round and all with Bisto Gravy. After being pretty stuffed we all headed down the strip to the popular bars for the backpackers of the world and there we discovered family buckets......saying no more.
Next day was great fun.We both hired our own bikes and headed off to the sand dunes. It took us a petrol stop and 1 hour later we later made it to the white sand dunes, they were in the middle of nowhere. You had a plastic sleigh and with the help of a shove you were off, by the time you stopped you were sure of one thing, sand gets everywhereJ.The hard thing was getting back to the top with the sun beating down on you to do it all again.Eventually it was time to get back on the bikes before darkness fell on us.It was nice to have the bikes to ourselves without a guide controlling our journey.
Mui Ne was really nice just to relax and be a beach bum.It was now time to leave Mui Ne and head to Saigon, our last destination in Vietnam.
Stay tuned for our next adventure.
