We left Detroit Lakes around 8 am and within an hour we were in Fargo, North Dakota. We were not able to find the famous wood chipper from the movie Fargo. Driving day. We left Munising around 8 o'clock. We had a quick stop at the Agate Falls. We were able to hike right to the base of the falls. We continued west through Wisconsin. It was a pretty drive with the leaves finally changing colour and some rolling hills. Wisconsin is the place to go if you need a duck blind. Today was our hiking and waterfall exploration day. There are 20 waterfalls very close to Munising, some very close to the road, and some involving hiking. We did two quick visits in the morning, to Alger Falls and Wagner Falls, both very close to Munising and close to the road. Next we ventured 5 miles east to the Miners River.
