Ko Phangan is only a small island with few roads. We had us a beautiful place on the north of the island. The ferry ride over was something out of chessington but good fun. We got stuck on the way in our tuk tuk in the mud and unbuilt roads. Our hotel was amazing. We had a bath on the roof, sky, dvd, etc, was stunning. The nicest place ive stayed. The weather again wasnt too sunny but the beach was picture postcard. Unfortunately to get to the 'town' you had to either walk the long way or go over a knee deep stream. We took the stream. One day i crossed on my own and sand had dissapeared so i almost got swept away by the sea. New phone drowned as did my money. Went to some nice chill out bars. We went down south for the full moon and the atmosphere was brilliant. People covered in illuminous paint, good music and bar after bar. You couldnt move and everyone got on the beach. The day before 2 girls drowned in the sea so we couldnt have the official full moon party but there was still lots of music and had a great time
