Howdy All, Got to Peru and decided on a little change of plans as we wer tied of very long bus rides. Decided to give Nazca a miss, take two days in Lima and an extra one in Cusco.

Lima was nice in Miraflores where we stayed but we really only did a couple of museums. One included a ¨Galerie Erotica¨ which I must say included some very interesting sculptures to say the least!!!! Pete had to shut his eyes several times.

From their we flew to Cuzco, got to the departure lounge and Pete saidÏt is always nice to get to this stage¨. Then TC came back from his walk and said the board was saying our flight was cancelled, and so it was but no announcement was ever made, they just went round whispering to people. So we rebooked, apparently to leave 10mins earlier but no that was a mistake to and we finally got off and hour late.

The first day in Cuzco we headed out to Pisac where there is a big Inkan ruin and a big market. Another stunning drive as we had our first glimpses of the mighty ¨Sacred Valley of the Inkas¨. Green, magic and surrounded by awesome peaks. We spent two hours at the ruins with a guide, very large area with cemetery, lookouts, terraces and temples.

Then to the market, we actually liked it better than Chichicastenanga, there was more, it was very good quality, and they didn´t hassle you until you showed genuine interest in buying. Needless to say the packs are somewhat fuller yet again!!!!
