We went to the Iguazu falls today (Argentinian side - it stretches over the Argentina and Brazil border). It was so amazing, one of the best days so far.
We got so many good photos (like the one above - not one of mine but i got similar ones!). You can do two different walkways, one leads you around the top of the waterfall so you can look down, and the other leads you around the bottom of the waterfall so you can look up at it. We also went on a speedboat ride which takes you into the waterfalls! You get absolutely soaked but it is SOOOOO nice cos it´s been like 45 degrees all day.
There was loads of wildlife around as well. We saw a big black snake in a tree about 2 feet away from us! We also saw alligators, lizards, a tortoise, about a million butterflies of every possible colour imaginable, and these things called coaties. There´s signs everywhere saying ´please dont feed the coaties; please be careful with food as they will bite; etc etc´. Well i put my bag down on the floor for literally one second and one of these coaties (they look like racoons) came running out of knowhere, stuck its nose between the tiny gap in the zip of my bag, and managed to grab my packet of biscuits and run away with them before i even had chance to do anything!!! Cheeky!
We leave Argentina tomorrow (boo - we all want more time here), and head over to Brazil. Tomorrow we go to the IGuazu falls again, but on the Brazilian side, where we can do a helicopter flight over the falls - cant wait!
